I like the idea of private solutions (naturally). But I wonder if any material fix will work. If these data are correct, then this is much more of an attitudinal issue than a material one. https://x.com/SaysSimulation/status/1633907467380768825

People who care about the future are (apparently) more likely to have babies. People who have a moral or spiritual belief in something larger than their own enjoyment in the here and now are (apparently) more likely to have babies. People who are less susceptible to mainstream influences and programming are too.

The share of Amish, et al, and of religious conservatives, is going to rise relative to the rest of the population. Absent some attitudinal shifts (or serious changes in our economic circumstances), I am not sure what changes that.
