If in the 1970s the media had given these same theories a proper airing we would not be in the current mess. I see emotionally charged propaganda and indoctrination as a major underpinning of the corruption. The lies in the propaganda are a major vulnerability that need to be exposed and attacked relentlessly. This is why independent media along with the First Amendment are essential to the fight.
